Wanda LaLoggia first discovered ikebana when she came across an ikebana exhibit at a hotel in Des Moines, Iowa. When she returned to Phoenix, she tried to find more information but found nothing. About ten years later, she came across a lovely ikebana arrangement created by Bev Tall at the Fountain Hills library. She picked up one of the information cards and called Bev who told her about the local club. She immediately signed up for her first class from then president, Mary Jo Wall.
Since that time, Wanda has held all positions on the board. In her current position as Vice President, she assists the President.
