Although the number of lessons is not the only determining factor for certificates, the list below represents the current guidelines for the amount of study necessary for each grade. An understanding of the knowledge and principles inherent to the certificate is also necessary before the certificate can be granted.

Diploma, Name plate and “The Book of Ikebana, Part II” accompanies certificate

Preliminary RIKKA study may begin.
Diploma, Name plate and “The Book of Ikebana, Part IV” accompany certificate
Instructor of Ikebana 3rd Grade
RIKKA study officially begins at this level.
