Lauren is the President of the chapter. Lauren’s interest in flower arranging came from her involvement with roses. As an accredited ARS horticulture and arrangement judge, she felt the need to expand my knowledge with the oriental schools. She was introduced to the Ikenobo school by her rose arrangement mentors in Ohio. She started study with the Cleveland Chapter in 2004 and earned her beginners Nyumon certificate there.
Lauren transferred to Phoenix in 2006 where she connected with the Arizona chapter and began studying with Sensei Pat Kuffler. She has since earned certificates bringing her to level 10 Kakan Assistant Professor of Ikebana, 2nd Grade and is working towards her level 11, Kako Assistant Professor of Ikebana, 1st Grade.
Lauren states that she love roses and all flowers and especially enjoy sharing her passion for them with others.
