Zoom Workshop Guidelines

Workshop Etiquette
  • Be on time and be ready to go.
  • Mute yourself when you are not actually talking to the sensei or the group.
  • During your critique: Listen; don’t make excuses and remember to thank your teacher.
  • You are allowed to ask questions and make positive comments on others’ arrangements.
  • When puzzled by others’ arrangements, feel free to stay quiet.
  • If you need to leave the meeting before your arrangement is to be critiqued, contact the sensei to see if you can be critiqued earlier in the meeting.
1. Register

Please RSVP to the workshop first. After you register, you will be sent the link for the Zoom Workshop and to associated videos.


2. Send your Payment

Make checks out to Ikenobo of Arizona. Checks should be sent to Connie Scholl, 16518 E. Fairfax Dr, Fountain Hills, AZ, 85268. You may also make payment via Zelle to [email protected].

3. Follow Zoom Workshop Details Below
  • After registering for a Zoom workshop, you will receive a Zoom link, as well as a link to the lecture for that class which is prepared to guide your arranging.
  • Prepare your arrangement and photograph it (front, side and kenzan views).
  • Email the photos to the teacher for critique.
  • Revise your work according to any suggestions from the teacher and resubmit photos.
  • Final photos will be incorporated in a PowerPoint presentation to be shared at the Zoom workshop, and all participants will discuss their work with the group.
  • If you need assistance at any time, contact the teacher for individual help.

  • Deadline for initial photos is Friday, 5 PM, before the Zoom session.
  • Deadline for final photos is Saturday, 5PM, before Zoom session. 

By signing up for this workshop, You are granting permission to Ikebana Arizona Chapter, its affiliates, successors, and assignees to use your photograph(s) for marketing and promotional purposes. This may include but is not limited to use in print materials, online advertising, social media, and other marketing channels.
