Focus on Shoka

After reviewing the lecture on shoka sent by Linnéa Storm sensei, the ten participants in this Zoom workshop prepared their shoka arrangements for review.   The focus was on the importance of a seasonal note in all of shoka as well as on the differences shown by isshuike, nishuike, sanshuike, and shimputai shoka.  The shared works were a fitting welcome for Spring since they featured materials strongly linked to the season:   tulips, forsythia, pussy willow. .
