September 22, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
-
Lesson: Shoka Shimputai
-
Sensei: Linnea Storm
-
Cost: $10.00 to members and one guest
The Arizona Chapter of Ikenobo wants to bring Japanese flower-arranging to a wider audience. So, the event will only cost members $10. Guests are FREE. So, BRING A FRIEND. (Or come by yourself and make a friend.) You can shop for a one-of-a-kind vase, learn the history of the ancient art of Ikenobo ikebana and create a delightful shoka shimputai arrangement. Bring a shoka container and kenzan for yourself and one for your friend.
You will want your arrangement to be one that “speaks” to you, so if there is one special flower or branch you want to use, bring it! This will become the focus of your arrangement. Flowers and material will be provided; bringing your own materials is entirely optional.
To do:
- Register for the workshop before the deadline and give us your friend’s name
- Send your check for $10 made out to Ikenobo Ikebana of Arizona to:
- Linnea Storm
- 15047 N Los Mochos Ct

- Bring shoka containers and kenzans for yourself and guest
- Optional: Bring one or two flowers or branches to be the focal point of your arrangements
