Thanks to Felice Hursh for the beautiful creamer and sugar sets that were featured as surprise gifts at our miniature workshop. Students were delighted with their mini shopping spree as they oohed and aahed over the selections. After favorite sets were chosen, Lauren Toth, our sensei, created a free style arrangement with her selected set.
Lauren brought materials including miniature roses, herbs, and tiny artichokes from her own garden for students to use, and she demonstrated how to prepare oasis to use in the creamer/sugar sets. Next, she created a small arrangement using a kenzan.
All in all, it was a perfect ending before our summer break. Thank you, Felice, and thank you, Lauren!
